As with many tutors Margaret found that Covid caused a major re think of her teaching processes.
This included filming a 'weaving pods/3D weaving' course for Weavers Bazaar and also a comprehensive beginners course, soon to be available on their website.
In the past Margaret has taught at Weavers Bazaar in Forest Row, at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation and she regularly taught short one day courses to groups with expertise in other forms of art and craft. For more information on these courses please contact her via the 'Contact' page of this website.

Since Covid Margaret's main face to face teaching is based in Angmering where she teaches with Jane Brunning. Jane studied at West Dean College some years  before Margaret and they have both subsequently worked in the West Dean Professional Tapestry Studio on commissions for well known clients.

Workshops:
A series of “Weaving Workshops” for weavers who would like to learn how to design, improve their tapestry techniques and to explore the work of other weavers.
Surgeries:

A series of “Weaving Surgeries” for more advanced and confident weavers. The sessions give weavers opportunities to express their creative abilities and to extend their knowledge and technical skills.

These groups represent a continual development programme and each meets on an almost monthly basis. For more information contact Margaret via this website or Jane via hers: http://janebrunningtapestry.co.uk. We have some availability starting in September 2022.
