Much of Margaret's teaching is based in Angmering where she teaches with Jane Brunning. Jane studied at West Dean College some years before Margaret and they have both subsequently worked in the West Dean Professional Tapestry Studio on commissions for well known clients.

Exploring Colour in Sedbergh, Cumbria. April 2025
If you’ve seen Margaret’s work at Heallreaf or elsewhere, this is your chance to find out how she creates those wonderful subtle colour shifts, and experiment with ideas and techniques yourself - exploring ways to expand your approach to colour bundling, looking at ways to shift colour vertically, laterally and diagonally, and more. If you want some advice on a project, it’s a chance to discuss that as well. The dates are Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th April, and there are just a few places left. Full details of the workshop and the booking form are available on the Nearly Wild Weaving website, and do get in touch with Anna if you have any questions. |
Workshops:
A series of “Weaving Workshops” for weavers who would like to learn how to design, improve their tapestry techniques and to explore the work of other weavers. Surgeries:
A series of “Weaving Surgeries” for more advanced and confident weavers. The sessions give weavers opportunities to express their creative abilities and to extend their knowledge and technical skills. These groups represent a continual development programme and each meets on an almost monthly basis.
